After a successful career in retail management, George retired from the corporate world to spend more time with his wife, Marianne, in their business together. He handles all the vendor relations and accounting.
When not in the office you can find him on the golf course or checking the box scores. He is always planning new adventures to experience with Marianne in his time off.

Marianne has been in the design field since 1996 and owned Altra Home Décor with her husband George since 2005. She loves working with clients and developing long term relationships. As a certified Hunter Douglas window treatment expert she is full of great ideas and will make sure that you have the best combination of function and style. She also is an expert in kitchen and bath design and has created many beautiful designs for her clients.
In her spare time, she loves to cook, read and travel to warm exotic places – nothing cold please! Aside from George, her greatest loves (aside from George) are her two Jack Russell Terriers – Madeline and Archie.

Jennifer Crossan

Originally from Scotland, Jennifer came to Arizona and received her degree in Interior Design from Scottsdale Community College. She has experience in all areas – from flooring to countertops to window treatments. She is your go to girl. Her motto is “Vision is the art of seeing what’s invisible to others.”
Whenever she can, she goes back to the UK to visit her favorite Grandma. She is fanatical about her pets. She has 5 dogs and 6 cats that have all been rescued from shelters.

Don Faciana

After living the majority of his life in Cleveland Ohio owning a customer drapery workroom, Don moved to Arizona and is our installer extraordinaire. He has over 30 years of experience in installing window coverings and draperies and will not leave until they look perfect. Don makes sure that before they leave the workroom all the draperies and window treatments are up to the high standards of Altra Home Décor.

With her Indian heritage and her attention to detail, Bert (as she is known to her friends) creates the beautiful draperies, valances, and window treatments that are installed in your homes. She has been creating unique window fashions since 1970.
She also in a master rug weaver and creates the most beautiful hand loomed rugs. They can take a year or more to weave and sell to an elite clientele.

Archie (pictured here) along with Madeline are our official mascots. These two Jack Russell Terriers are in the showroom most days to greet you and guide you around the showroom.
